"No Matter the Direction I" and "No Matter the Direction II" are a two-painting set by Teresa Tisserat. The geometric-meets-hobo paintings feature straight triangular lines portraying different directions, earth tones, and visual rhythm. The paintings use a unique blend of acrylic paint, wood stain, and wood-burning techniques. The wood-burning is abstract, which creates an interesting juxtaposition compared to the neatness of the lines.
These contemporary pieces are on maple plywood and each have a custom 2" flat poplar wood frame stained in dark walnut. The paintings have a smooth back and feature an easy-to-hang keyhole. The artwork sits flush against the wall and would look perfect in any room in your home or office.

The maple plywood used for this painting is fall-off material that I have repurposed. The backing is a smooth pre-finished UV-coated material.
